Students Against Mandates

Non-profit Organization

About

Students Against Mandates (S.A.M.) was founded in August of 2021 after I received an email from my college announcing the implementation of vaccine mandates for all students and staff. Those who failed to provide proof of vaccination from Covid-19 would be barred from their studies, teaching and attending campus. No further explanations and no exceptions. I found this to be deeply troubling and unjust. A quote by Dr. Jordan Peterson came to mind — “When you have something to say, silence is a lie”.

Peaceful Protests & Events

When college mandates were first introduced, I began attending anti-lockdown and anti-mandate protests, distributing informational postcards about the S.A.M. platform and inviting people to get involved. As the organization grew, my team and I progressed to speaking at protests, organizing our own rallies, hosting public debates, and coordinating social events.

By 2023, S.A.M. had become a Canada-wide non-profit organization that coordinated demonstrations at universities across Canada to oppose vaccine and mask mandates. Throughout this journey, I designed and produced a wide range of printed and digital materials to support these events—examples of which are shown below.

Website & Social Media

The SAM Podcast

As S.A.M. gained traction on social media, we received messages from people worldwide who shared their stories and experiences. To amplify their voices, my team and I developed an interview series called Opening Up, where we talked to those who suffered from adverse vaccine reactions. Over time, this series evolved into The SAM Podcast, which gives a platform to individuals who have been censored or de-platformed for holding views that challenge the mainstream narrative. Our guests include students, professors, doctors, scientists, politicians, journalists, pilots, and thought leaders who are honest, critical thinkers. Our goal is to engage in civil dialogue with those who want to share their story or expertise. Although we face heavy censorship on YouTube, all episodes are available on our Rumble, Apple Podcast and Spotify channels.

Valentine's Day Campaign

The SAM Community

The S.A.M. Community is the backbone of Students Against Mandates. At the outset, concerned citizens, students, and teachers contacted me to express their support. I started organizing meetups and potlucks in Winnipeg to bring like-minded individuals together. Over time, our efforts paid off, and Students Against Mandates has grown into a community of thousands of people across the country.
